Thank you for choosing to attend the 2002 St. George Area Parade of Homes. This 12th annual
parade is the result of many hours of donated time and effort by the local participating suppliers,
service support professionals and building contractors.

The Southern Utah Home Builders Association has grown to become the largest association of building professionals in the state and this event is the primary fundraising activity that helps support the staff, facilities and activities of the association. The builders in this area are particularly concerned with protecting property rights, carefully protecting and utilizing the land and resources in our community in a responsible manner, and working to make quality, energy efficient housing more accessible to those interested in our area.

"Preserving Rights, Promoting Industry, and Producing Quality" is the goal of the more than 600 member companies in the association. Your participation helps the association continue its efforts to create, in your behalf, pleasing and affordable neighborhoods in which to live.

Many of the homes on display this year are in the "dream" category and represent what can be accomplished in choice neighborhoods with extra attention to quality and design. Twenty five of the best builders in the area showcase their work and the corroborative efforts of their designers, sub-contractors and suppliers. We hope you will appreciate the diversity and beauty of the different architectural styles that complement the neighborhoods and beautiful natural topography of southern Utah. This is a wonderful and unique place to live and work and continues to attract people from all over the world.

We hope that you will find many new ideas and discoveries to help make your personal lives more pleasant and encourage you to ask questions and learn more about what's new in the building industry.
