| This
is a home designed just for the Parade of Homes. The decorator
calls it a home with a French country look. It is a
rustic-looking home with rock, brick and stucco exterior. A
highlight on the outside of the home is the copper fascia and
soffit.
The home comes with a unique
timber package on the front entry. People will walk into the
home through the entry that features pre-cast pillars designed
just for the home.
The home has a custom den and
living room, and a family room that was designed with large
windows for the views of both the mountains and valley.
The kitchen comes with
commercial-grade appliances and knotty alder with three
different finishes to give it the rustic look. The fireplace
in the family room has a mantle that was custom-made of
gypsum. All of the walls in the home come with hand-painted
murals showing a number of different scenes.
The basement comes complete
with a kitchen, three bedrooms and two baths. It is also the
entertainment center of the home, with a billiards table and
home theater.
All of the bedrooms come with
walk-in closets. Most of the home features 11-foot ceilings
that in some cases rise into taller vaults. The master suite
has a large bay window, a shower with double shower heads and
a jetted tub. The casings around the doors are of a distressed
alder.
