Originally, the builder intended to build another style home. Then, at the last minute, looking at the land and the location, a new plan was introduced and built. It was, said the builder, the right choice.

The home fits into the natural grade of the land and takes better advantage of the trees and the views.

The inside of the home has more of an east-coast feeling but with a touch of the prairie. It has a simple, clean look; simple yet appealing. It is rich and yet comfortable.

To get this he built in such things as smooth lines and different colors. In the kitchen, for example, shaker cabinets in multiple colors and styles were used. Because of the views, a lot of glass was put into the home. There are also three decks on the home that are accessed through French doors.

It comes with a unique kitchen that has been integrated into the family room. From the kitchen, people can look out of a tall window into a stand of trees and a custom stone wall. There is an island bar that makes it possible to work as well as eat and be entertained. Stainless steel appliances were used in the kitchen.

The master suite is located on the main level and offers access to one of the decks as well as the accompanying views. The home, like many today, was wired for the future in order to integrate such things as phones and computers.
