Thank you for attending the 2004 Salt Lake Parade of Homes. In addition we thank you for attending the 2nd Annual Parade of Homes Expo held at the South Towne Expo Center, showcasing many of our association builders and many of their suppliers.

With this being the second year having our kick-off to the Parade of Homes in conjunction with a "home show" at the expo center, we are astounded with the growth of this product show in such a short period of time. It is of the caliber to rival any locally produced home show, and we feel that with the sponsorship interest many national firms have given it, this show will be the premier show of its type in our area very shortly. Please come and see us at this product expo August 6th - 8th at the South Towne Exposition Center on State Street and 9400 South in Sandy.

As you can see from the number of homes available for your viewing enjoyment, the Salt Lake Parade of Homes has continued to grow in our quest to provide the best possible show of its kind to you. We have found that providing starter homes, second homes on up to multi-million dollar dream homes, that you, the perspective home buyer, have an opportunity to see a variety of homes specific to your budget and your desires.

There are a number of terrific builders in our association that can meet the very specific needs you may require to help you successfully complete your first or next home, and we invite you, as you meet them in their homes, to ask the questions that are on your mind to help you in your search for the right builder. Or if you are simply there to enjoy the beautiful architecture, interior design features, landscape ideas or breathtaking kitchens and entertainment systems, relax and take it all in for the entertainment value. There's no question it is a show that will leave many inspiring impressions on you as you visit each home.

As always, we are extremely grateful to you and your support of the Salt Lake Home Builder's Association in attending this year's Parade of Homes. The Salt Lake Home Builder's Association has your best interests at heart. We are actively participating in legislation both on state and municipal levels to help keep costs associated with building new homes down for you the homeowner. It is an association established for you, the perspective home buyer, to have resources to draw upon for valuable insight and information. It is governed by officers and a board of directors made up of professionals in the residential building industry that have the homeowners' in the forefront of our collective minds. Our livelihood is dependant on your satisfaction and confidence. We invite you to call upon the Salt Lake Home Builder's Association for assistance in helping you choose the best builder for your needs. We certainly have the best the industry has to offer right here in our association.

Once again we hope you enjoy the Parade of Homes Expo and the 52 beautiful homes the parade has to offer you this year. Tell your friends about the "must see" home and don't forget to vote for your choice of this year's "Best of Show".

A special thanks is deserving to this year's Parade of Homes committee and Stacey Reese of the HBA staff who have all put in many hard hours to help the success of the parade. We would also like to thank the builders who have invested time, money, and a public interest to help better the Parade of Homes for 2004. The greatest thank-you goes out to Spence Greer, Salt Lake Home Builder's Association Executive Officer, for his invaluable service to the parade and the Home Builder's Association over the years. Spence will be retiring after the completion of this year's Parade of Homes and will be greatly missed by all involved in this industry. He is the innovator of many things related to the association and the Parade of Homes as you now see it. Spence, we wish you the best in your future endeavors.
