Le Ciel Sourit, which means "heaven smiles,'' is a rambler-style home plucked right out of the French countryside - a home with sort of a French/traditional look to it.
The exterior is a blend of rock and stucco. What sets the home apart is that even though it is a rambler, it has a second level. In this case, it is a bonus area that has been designed for the kids and will have bedrooms, bathrooms and a study.
This leaves the main-level master for the adults. The home features 18-foot ceilings in the grand entry and a stone fireplace in the family room. It comes with such things as a sunken grand master suite, jetted shower and a three-sided fireplace between the master suite and master bath.
The loft, with bedrooms, bath and a study, offers a sense of seclusion in the home. One of the unique things about the master bath is the "jetted'' shower. It works like this: the bottom of the shower is filled with about six inches of water. Large jets pick up the water and shoot it from eight wall jets. The person getting the shower gets clean and a message at the same time.
The master suite itself is large, nearly 400 square feet, and has a floating ceiling. The look in the kitchen is one of Old World. An antique marble was used in the kitchen and then given a white glaze to make it look aged.
The floors in the kitchen are cherry wood and the island bar is accented with galley seating. In the great room there is a 15-foot-high stone fireplace. There are 19-foot ceilings in the entry and in the center of the home. The basement is unfinished, but has nine-foot ceilings to allow for later additions.
