The Oasis is a home with a contemporary Southwest design. It is a plan, says the builder, that highlights the things that today's home buyers are looking for in a new home.

The builder passed the word onto the architect and the architect put it on paper. Now it's a home. The large columns leading to the entry are one of the things that make this home unique.

The open plan offers a formal living room, large great room, custom cabinets and ceramic tile throughout. The large floor-to-ceiling windows allow great views into the home.

The master suite and grand bath are certain to catch attention of visitors, with walk-in closet and separate tub and shower. It also comes with contemporary lighting, extra deep garages and two-tone paint.

The exterior of the home is a blend of rock and stucco that give the home a very rustic look with wooden pillars and ranch-style rock all in the darker colors.

Knotty alder cabinets were used in the kitchen, which comes with a bar-top countertop, crown molding under the windows and large windows. The appliances used are black-on-black, which has been very popular with buyers.

The builder also introduced a number of plant shelves into the interior design. In the family room there are double ceiling fans and canned lighting, as well as a number of other features. The home itself sits on a half-acre lot, which, with today's land prices, is rarely seen in the building business.
