This home started as an idea, went to the drawing board and is now ready for public review.

This is a traditional-style home with some very untraditional features. Like, for example, what is being touted as the finest home theater in the Utah marketplace. The theater is in the lower level of the home. In order to reach the custom seating, however, visitors will have to walk by a marquee room complete with ticket booth and movie posters. There is also a wet bar with a microwave/refrigerator and candy drawers.

To enter the home, visitors step through an eight-foot cherry wood door and are welcomed by a large light fixture overhead. The entry is large enough, in fact, to accommodate a grand piano. Off to the right is a home office with granite countertops and a fireplace. Formal living and dining rooms are off to the left. There is a large family room toward the rear of the home with slate fireplace and vaulted ceilings. Most of the floors in the main level are covered with a tumbled limestone.

The kitchen will feature stainless-steel appliances, alder cabinets and solid-surface countertops. The master suite also features vaulted ceilings and a cast-concrete fireplace.

The master bath is done in marble and comes with a jetted tub and separate shower. There is also access onto a large rear deck that overlooks a yard highlighted by a four-pond waterfall and a view of the 18th green of the Eaglewood Golf Course.

Along with the theater, there is a second master suite, nearly identical to the one on the main level, along with two more bedrooms connected to their own bathrooms.
