| The architect of this home traveled the country looking for the right plan. What he came up with was a very unique plan with a very unity feature - a Casita.
What is a Casita? It is a small home separated from the main home that can be used as a retreat for the owner or a guest home for visitors, like the mother-in-law. It could also be a craft room or office. It has carpeted floors, a walk-in closet and a separate bathroom. Guests will enter through a wrought-iron gate stretched between two brick pillars. Entering the courtyard there is the Casita and the entrance to the home.
The home itself is a two-story, Mediterranean design with a brick and stucco exterior, cathedral windows and a very high roofline. The builder introduced a lot of windows into the home to take advantage of the views, with reach around the entire 360 degrees of the home.
On the main level is the family room, which reaches up two stories, kitchen, living room and den. The kitchen comes with granite countertops, an island bar and custom alder cabinetry. The floors in the kitchen are marble. In the family room there is a fireplace with a build-in entertainment center. There are wrought-iron railings throughout the home.
On the second level there are four bedrooms, including the master suite that has its own sitting area, which could also be an office, and a fireplace. There is a walk-out basement that will not be finished for the home show. It does, however, lead to a large covered patio. To the side of the home is a garage that is two cars wide and two cars deep.
