When the builder first introduced this home he found it was very well received. It was, after all, classed as a good family home. So, he decided to build it again for this year's home show.

It is a two-story home with nearly 5,000 square feet of space. One of the things people liked best about the home is how functional the floor plan is. The exterior of the home is a blend of brick and stucco. One of the things sure to attract the attention of visitors is the hardwood flooring. There is more than 950 square feet of cherry wood floors in the home.

Entering the home, visitors will step into an entry that reaches up two full stories and features marble flooring. The family, dining and den are located on the main level. In the kitchen there is a built-in China hutch, tile countertops and stainless steel appliances. In the family room there is a free-standing fireplace with a hand-carved mantle that feature a couple of bears and a salmon. The master suite is large, 15-by-20, and joins a master bath complete with jetted tub and shower. In the rear of the home is a large, 18-by-18 maintenance-free deck in the shape of an octagon.

The yard has been fully landscaped and the rear yard is fenced using earth-tone-colored vinyl fencing. The home has a walk-out basement, which will not be finished for the home show. To keep the home comfortable year-round, it will have two furnaces and two central air conditioning units. There is a three-car garage with this home. One of the bays, however, reaches back nearly 30 feet, making it possible to park things like motorcycles, ATVs and even a smaller car. Off to the side of the home is parking for a recreational vehicle.
