President's Message
On behalf of the members of the Iron County Home Builders
Association, I welcome you to our 9th annual
Parade of Homes. Our Iron County Parade of Homes has
become a highly anticipated and very enjoyable event
in Iron County. We don't have to travel anywhere else
to see beautiful homes, and they are built by local builders
we know and associate with right here in Iron County. This
year's Parade will again give us the opportunity to dream,
create or simply enjoy the masterful craftsmanship displayed
by our Parade home builders. We will be touring 11 homes
this year, plus one special feature.
The planning for this year's Parade began just one
month after last year's Parade of Homes, so there has
been much work and effort by our Parade Committee to
produce this fine event. The builders have also spent
many months in the planning and building of their homes. And
we know the builders don't prepare these homes by themselves-many
people are involved, from subcontractors and suppliers
to decorators and landscapers. It takes much, much time
and effort by many people to present the outstanding
Parade of Homes we enjoy every August and September.
The Parade of Homes is fun, helpful and informative. Beyond
this, the Parade of Homes is a vehicle that helps provide
funding for our association.
A special thanks to Winnie Warner, our Parade Chairman,
and her committee. Also, thanks to our Executive Officer,
June Sewing, and her staff and to all the builders, suppliers
and trade contractors who have put in much time and tremendous
effort to create another memorable Parade of Homes. So
enjoy, dream, create, marvel and wonder at the beauty
and craftsmanship that make up this year's Iron County
Parade of Homes.
